Ganymede is a Trojan hero and cup-bearer for the Gods according to Greek mythology. This statue of Ganymede was sculpted by Oscar Lenz, a native of Rhode Island. Oscar studied sculpture under Auguste Saint-Gaudens in New York and was said to be one of the most talented American sculptors of his time. The base of the statue is signed by Oscar Lenz.

The pedestal the statue stands on measures 26” in diameter.
